Frequently asked questions
Is using a VPN legal in Türkiye?
Using a VPN is not banned for individuals in Türkiye, but the authorities have blocked access to some VPN services. Colitu is a privacy tool, and you are responsible for following local law.
Can I watch Turkish TV from abroad with the Bursa server?
Many Turkish channels and platforms limit content to Turkish IP addresses, and this server gives you one. Each platform still has its own account and licensing rules, so check the live ✓ tags and the platform's terms.
I live in Türkiye — why would I use a Turkish server?
It encrypts your traffic on untrusted networks such as hotel or café Wi-Fi, while sites still see a Turkish address, so local services keep working as usual.
