Colitu VPN for Windows

An open-source VPN app for Windows 10 and 11 that connects in one click. System proxy and TUN mode for all traffic, a kill switch and signed automatic updates.

Installation

  1. Download the installer with the button below.
  2. Run it. If SmartScreen warns you, choose “More info → Run anyway” only if you downloaded the file from colitu.com.
  3. When setup finishes, open Colitu and sign in with your account.
  4. Click Connect on the home screen; the fastest location and protocol are chosen for you.

TUN mode

All traffic goes through the tunnel, including games and programs that make their own connections.

Kill switch

If the VPN drops, traffic cannot leave outside the tunnel (Windows Filtering Platform).

Signed updates

The update manifest is signed with ECDSA; nothing is installed if the checksum does not match.

Open source

The full code is on GitHub under GPL-3.0.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Windows 7 or 32-bit version?

No. The app supports 64-bit Windows 10 and 11.

My antivirus blocks the installer. What should I do?

Compare the file's SHA-256 with the value on this page; if they match, the file is ours. Add Colitu to the antivirus allow list.

Can it run alongside another VPN?

Two VPNs should not run at the same time; close the other one first.
